Ok, I really want to love all things organic but on occasion I just can’t. This is one of those times.
A few weeks back, when I was in the sex shop with my ex girlfriend picking up condoms (strange, huh?), I saw a display for this organic line of lubricants. I have never been a lube gal BUT I decided to grab a couple of trial size versions of their line, the natural and the gel. I then forgot about them, because as I said, I don’t ever think about lube.
Wow, when you have sex with a man for HOURS, lube is probably a good idea, huh? They say that “Nothing outlasts the Energizer Bunny”, well, except for Cooper Fiennes, the Spanish Bunny that keeps going and going and going. Oh man. I am NOT complaining, by the way. I’m just saying, sometimes a quickie is AWESOME!!! So, this had me remembering that I had bought the trials of Sliquid. I didn’t have them with me, but I now had them on my mind.
Flash forward to yesterday. I decide to give them a try during some solo action. Both felt good to the hand BUT within a short time of applying to the obvious areas… those botanicals in the Natural had me itching in a very unpleasant way. I quickly washed it off. Itch free, I decided against continuing. Then a few hours later I was feeling a bit gypped, so I decided to try the Gel version. Not nearly as itchy but still not the sensation I am looking for from a lubricant. Crotch on fire is NOT one of the top 5 attributes on my lube checklist.
With that being said… I am sure it doesn’t do this to everyone, so, if organics in your sensitive bits are important… try out some trial sizes… but be near some soap and water, just in case.
